Almond Date Cookies
8 steps
Prep:10minCook:8min
These healthy chocolate chip cookies use date paste and almond flour as a base, and avoids using sugar, butter, and white flour. If you're anything like me and find most desserts way too sweet, you'll find that you enjoy these cookies much more than any traditional chocolate chip cookie.

Step 5
Scoop and roll into balls. Place on the cookie sheet. Lightly press down, and shape into a circle. Wetting your hands a little helps the dough from sticking everywhere
Step 6
Bake at 350F for about 8 minutes. The cookies should just turn golden but still be soft in the middle. They will puff up a little but not really expand outward
Step 7
Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack
Step 8
Try making an ice cream sandwich with some banana ice cream
