Instructions
Step 1
Slice the onion thinly and put it in a pot with the butter. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes until translucent and soft
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slivers. Preheat the oven to 200°C
Step 3
Take a small oven tray and layer potatoes, cooked onion, 3-4 anchovy fillets and repeat until you’re out of ingredients. Place in the oven for 5 minutes
Step 4
In those 5 minutes add about 1tsp of the anchovies oil, the milk and the cream (plus salt and pepper) to a pot. Bring to a simmer (without boiling) and remove from the heat.
Step 5
Take the tray out of the oven and add the creamy mixture to it. Cover the top with breadcrumbs and place back in the oven for about 25/30 minutes. Enjoy!
