Instructions

Step 1
Soak the 3 1/2 cups of rice in cool water for 15-20 minutes
Step 2
Using a strainer, rinse the rice under running water until water runs clear to remove starch
Step 3
Place rice in microwaveable rice cooker along with 4 1/2 cups of water and put the lid
Step 4
cook for 15 minutes on "Power 8"
Step 5
Remove lid, stir and cook for 5 minutes uncovered "Power 8"
Step 6
Remove from microwave, stir and serve
