Making pumpkin purée from scratch is so easy . It’s fresh and delicious and can be used in cakes pies and pumpkin spice lattes .

Instructions
Step 1
Slice the pumpkin in half then scoop out the seeds ( these can be dried and eaten ) now place the pumpkin cut side down on a lined baking sheet and bake at 200 c / 400 f for about 35 minutes or until fork tender
Step 2
Remove from the oven then flip over and use a spoon to scoop out the cooked flesh . Put into a food processor then process for about 4 minutes or until smooth . Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or put in freezer safe sealable bags and flatten them down This saves on space and they can be frozen for 4 months or so . Now you can use them as you like . Enjoy
