Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2
In a large bowl beat together butter, shortening, granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.




Step 3
Add in vanilla extract and peppermint extract, then mix in one egg at a time.



Step 4
Turn mixer down to low speed, mix in flour, baking soda and salt. If the dough is too sticky, and 1 tsp of flour at a time.



Step 5
Mix in candy cane and white chocolate chips.


Step 6
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roll dough into balls. Bake for 12 - 14 minutes.
