Scalloped Oysters

This is a family recipe that has been around for generations. Our Thanksgiving wouldn’t be complete without it!

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°
Step 2
Drain oysters until all the liquid “liquor” is out.
Step 3
Start by buttering a 9x13 baking dish
Step 4
Crumble part of the ritz crackers to cover the bottom of the pan
Step 5
Layer 1/2 your oysters, followed by pats of butter and pepper. Repeat the process with more ritz, oysters, butter, pepper and finish with ritz crackers.
Step 6
Pour 1 pint of half and half over the oyster and cracker mix.
Step 7
Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes
