Caribbean Air Fryer Wings
8 steps
Prep:10minCook:20min
Another crispy air fryer wing recipe and these might be my new favorite wings! Seasoned to perfection and basted in a homemade flavor packed jerk-pineapple sauce, this recipe is so easy and mouth watering. There's some nice heat, but the sweetness of the pineapple balances everything out.
For this recipe I used a Pineapple Pepper Jam (instead of Pineapple Preserves) that I picked up locally here in Arizona. I always love to support local businesses, so if you are in the area I highly recommend grabbing a few! They also ship too! https://thekitchenwitchtempe.com/

1 tspsalt

1 tsppepper

½ Tbspgarlic powder

1 Tbspjerk seasoning

1 Tbspcorn starch
For the Glaze
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees.

Step 2
In a large bowl toss your wings in the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, jerk seasoning, and corn starch. Mix until the corn starch powder is gone.

Step 3
In a single layer, air fry for 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
Step 4
In the meantime, make the glaze: Put all the ingredients for the glaze in a sauce pan.

Step 5
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Take off the heat, reserving about 1/4 cup for basting.
Step 6
Remove the wings from the air fryer and baste each piece with some of the glaze.
Step 7
Air fry for another 3-5 minutes or until the glaze has carmelized.
Step 8
Serve with the rest of your glaze as a dipping sauce and enjoy!
