Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Step 4
Gradually add flour and salt to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Step 5
Fill a cookie press with dough and press cookies onto ungreased baking sheets.
Step 6
Bake for 6-8 minutes or until set but not brown.
Step 7
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
