Instructions

Step 1
Combine all ingredients. If possible, *season at least 30 minutes (and up to to two hours) before cooking* to let that seasoning work its way into the patty.
Step 2
Press a dimple into the center of the patties
Step 3
Use a meat thermometer for the most accurate grilling.
Step 4
Medium-rare (warm, red center): 6 minutes, or 130°F to 135°F
Step 5
Medium (warm, pink center): 7 to 8 minutes, or 140°F to 145°F
Step 6
Medium-well (hot, slightly pink center): 9 minutes, or 150°F to 155°F
Step 7
Well done (brown all the way through): 10 minutes, or 160°F to 165°F
Step 8
Let your burgers rest for a few minutes after grilling
