Classic Cheeseburgers

Instructions

Step 1
Insert grill plate in to the Ninja Foodi Health Grill & Air Fryer and close the lid. Select GRILL, set temperature to HIGH, and set time to 8 minutes for medium-cooked burgers. Select START/STOP to begin preheating.
Step 2
While unit is preheating, divide the ground beef into 4 portions and hand-form each into a loosely formed 10cm patty
Step 3

With your thumb, make a 2.5cm indent in the centre of each patty (this will help the burgers keep their shapes uniform during cooking). Season patties with salt and pepper, as desired.
Step 4
When the unit beeps to signify it has preheated, place patties on the grill plate, gently pressing them down to maximise grill marks. Close lid and cook for 6 minutes.
Step 5
After 6 minutes, place a slice of cheese on each patty. Close lid and continue cooking for 1 minute
Step 6
After 1 minute, remove cheeseburgers from grill plate. Place the buns on the grill plate. Close lid and cook for the remaining 1 minute.
Step 7
When cooking is complete, serve cheeseburgers with toppings of your choice on the toasted buns.
