Instructions
Step 1
Measure flour and salt into a medium sized bowl.

Cut in shortening until size of small peas
Step 3
Sprinkle water 1 Tablespoons at a time and mix after each one with a fork.

Mix until dough cleans the sides of bowl.
Step 5
Gather dough together with hands and press firmly into ball.
Step 6
Roll out dough 2 inches larger than pie pan.
Step 7
For cream pies poke holes in crust. Bake at 475 for 8-10 minutes. (Before filling)
Step 8
For 2 crust pie, double recipe and bake at 450 for 15 minutes, then turn down to 350 and continue baking for 45 minutes. (After filling)
