Instructions
Step 1
Whisk together the egg and sugar until it turns pale in color. Then add in the softened butter and vanilla extract and mix again until combined.
Step 2
2. Add in the flour, baking soda, chocolate chips, and sprinkles and mix just until there are no large clumps of flour visible.
Step 3
3. Scoop the batter onto a lined baking tray, using a heart shaped cookie cutter as the mold. Leave a good amount of space between the cookies. Then place the tray in the freezer for at least an hour.
Step 4
4. Preheat the oven at 350F, then take the tray out of the freezer and immediately put them in the oven. Bake for 5 min or just until the edges are set, then take them out and reshape them with the cookie cutter. Bake for another 3-5 min or until the middle is just set. Reshape them again. The cookies will spread a little as they bake, but freezing the dough and reshaping halfway through the baking process will help the cookies maintain their shape.
Step 5
5. Let the cookies cool completely on the baking tray, and then enjoy :)
