Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Step 2
Line a 9x13 baking dish with aluminum foil lightly spray with cooking spray
Step 3
Press 1 can of crescent rolls into baking dish, bake for 7 minutes
Step 4
Combine lemon juice, zest of 1 1/2 lemons, cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth
Step 5
Spread cream cheese mixture over partially baked crust
Step 6
Unroll 2nd can of crescent rolls. Gently lay them on top, stretching to the edges
Step 7
Brush top dough with melted butter
Step 8
Combine 3 Tbs of sugar and remaining lemon zest in a bowl. Sprinkle over melted butter.
Step 9
Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown
Step 10
Let cool for 20 minutes then refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 11
Lift from the baking dish with the foil, cut into bars
