⁣PAAN-TINI⠀ ⠀ Hello, my name is Rashmi and I’m obsessed with PAAN!!! If there is one in the vicinity…then my heart will always find one (actually like 3)! Naturally, I was going to find more than one way to enjoy paan! Anyone remember those delicious paan candies from India back in the day?!?! Years later here we are…a Paan Martini recipe! Every bit of deliciousness! Thank me later❤⠀ ⠀ Serving: 1⠀ ⠀ Ingredients:⠀ 2 oz vodka⠀ 2 oz tonic water ⠀ 1/2 oz rose water ⠀ 1 paan leaf (betel leaf) ⠀ 1 tsp paan Masala ⠀ 1/2 tsp gulkand (optional) ⠀ 1/2 tsp coconut flakes⠀ 1/2 tsp mukhwas (used green for color) ⠀ Ice⠀ ⠀ RIM MIXTURES⠀ 1/2 tsp sugar⠀ 1/2 tsp dried rose petals⠀ 1 tsp coconut flakes⠀ 1 tsp mukhwas⠀ ⠀ GARNISH⠀ Paan leaf⠀ Maraschino cherries⠀ ⠀ **For 2 martinis, double up only the vodka and tonic water**⠀ ⠀ LET’S GET MIXING!⠀ ▪Begin with grinding up your rim mixture in a small blender. Pour into a small dish. Wet the rim of your glass with lemon or water. Dip and turn rim in the mukhwas mixture. ⠀ ▪In a cocktail shaker, add in rose water, paan masala, gulkand, coconut flakes, and mukhwas. Tear up paan leaf and add into shaker. Muddle well for about 15-20 seconds. ⠀ ▪Add in vodka and tonic water. Add 1 cup of ice. Close shaker and shake well for 30 seconds. Taste to adjust sweetness and alcohol. Strain into glass with a fine sieve strainer and not just from top of the cocktail shaker. ⠀ ▪Garnish with a folded paan leaf and maraschino cherry on a toothpick. Serve immediately and drink responsibly! Enjoy! ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ NOTES: If making Virgin, you can use sprite or tonic water. If you don’t want to buy all the ingredients, just use half a freshly made sweet pan for every 2-3 drinks. Omit gulkand if you don’t prefer your drinks sweet. . . .

Instructions

Step 1
