Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat your oven to 175°C.
Step 2
2. Mix flour and baking powder and set aside.
Step 3
3. In a separate bowl mix butter and sugar then add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix.

4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
Step 5
5. Add the rose water and chopped pistachios and mix.
Step 6
6. Pour into a buttered pan.
Step 7
7. Bake for 30-40 minutes then allow the cake to cool completely.

8. Pierce all over the cake with a fork.
Step 9
9. Melt the ice cream and mix it with the evaporated milk.
Step 10
10. Pour all over the cake and let it refrigerate for at least an hour.
Step 11
11. Beat the butter until creamy (should be room temp).
Step 12
12. Add the icing sugar in small inclusions and beat it well each time.
Step 13
13. Add the milk and vanilla and beat again.
Step 14
14. Transfer the icing into a piping bag and pipe onto the cake or use a spoon to spread it.
