Step 1
Peel the pumpkin and cut it into cubes.
Step 2
Heat the oil in the pan. Leave the heat on medium. Add the pumpkin and salt. Put on a lid and fry for about 10-12min. Stir the pumpkin occasionally so it doesn't burn.
Step 3
Puree the pumpkin with a blender until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Step 4
Roll out the puff pastry. Spread it with the cottage cheese. Leave an approx. 1 cm margin on the two longer sides.
Step 5
Now spread the pumpkin puree on top as well and drizzle on the cheese.
Step 6
Roll up the puff pastry from the two long sides towards the center. The two sides should be about the same thickness at the end.
Step 7
Cut the roll into pieces approx. 2 cm thick.
Step 8
Place the puff pastry pieces on a sheet of baking paper and flatten them slightly by hand.
Step 9
Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degree circulation air for about 8-12min. Enjoy!
