tender, such as arugula, spinach, or an Italian mix, washed and drained
0.25avocado
ripe, sliced or cubed
1 tablespoonnuts
chopped, optional
1 tablespoonparmesan cheese
For the balsamic vinaigrette
Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl, combine the mixed greens and avocado.
Step 2
Prepare the balsamic vinaigrette: In a small jar with a lid, combine the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, mustard, salt, and pepper. Shake vigorously until well emulsified.
Step 3
Pour the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad just before serving. Toss gently to coat all ingredients.
Step 4
If desired, sprinkle the salad with Parmesan cheese and chopped nuts for added flavor and texture.

Additional tips: You can use any type of hard cheese you like in place of Parmesan, such as feta or goat cheese.
If you don't have honey or brown sugar, you can omit them or use a liquid substitute like maple syrup.
