Ingredients

1 lbground beef

1onion
medium, diced

0.5red bell pepper
diced

1carrot
medium, shredded

1 tspgarlic
fresh, minced

2 cupsspinach
loosely packed choppped

1 tspgarlic powder

1 tspdry oregano

½ tspdry basil

½ tspfennel seeds

1 x 28 ozcan diced tomatoes

⅓ cuptomato paste

½ cupbeef broth

salt
to taste

pepper
to taste

sugar

red pepper flakes
Instructions
Step 1

Brown the beef then drain off any excess fat. Add the onion, bell pepper, carrot and garlic and cook 4-5 minutes. Then add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes uncovered.
Step 2
Serve over your favourite pasta.
