Instructions

PREP IT

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Grease a baking dish (about 20 x 15cm). Bring a full kettle to the boil.

MIX IT

In a large bowl, whisk together milk, egg and melted butter. Add remaining pudding ingredients.

Whisk gently, until smooth and combined.
Step 7
ASSEMBLE IT

Pour into prepared dish and smooth into an even layer with a spoon. Mix cocoa powder and brown sugar together in a bowl.
Step 9
Sprinkle mixture evenly over pudding.
Step 10
Slowly pour boiling water onto the back of a large metal spoon evenly over the pudding.

BAKE IT

Place baking dish on a baking tray (to prevent any spills while baking). Bake for 25-30 mins, or until pudding bounces back when pressed gently in the centre.

Serve immediately.

If desired, dust pudding with icing sugar and top with whipped cream or ice cream
