Instructions
Step 1
Combine oats, sifted flour, sugar and coconut in a large bowl. Mix well.
Step 2
Place butter, honey and golden syrup in a medium pan. Stir over low heat until the butter is melted. Combine soda and boiling water in a small jug; pour into butter mixture. Stir warm butter mixture into dry ingredients; mix well.
Step 3
Spoon heaped teaspoons of mixture, about 3cm apart, onto greased oven trays; press down lightly.
Step 4
Cook in slow over at 150°C for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Stand biscuits on trays for 5 minutes; transfer to wire racks to cool.
