This recipe is a modified version of Lillian White's Banana Nut Bread recipe from the Telephone Pioneers' Cookbook volume 32. It is the perfect banana bread.

Step 1
Cream butter and sugars
Step 2
Add bananas, eggs, and vanilla and use a hand blender to blend into a mostly homogeneous mixture. This may take a minute because of the butter and whole bananas but once it is an even liquid (should be pretty soupy) it is good.
Step 3
Add in dry ingredients and mix.
Step 4
Line a loaf pan with wax paper or parchment paper.
Step 5
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Toothpick should come out with a few wet crumbs.
Step 6
Pull out of the pan after about 5-10 minutes and allow to cool on the paper until lightly warm.
