Creami Cannoli Ice Cream

This delicious mascarpone based ice cream is truly a treat unlike you’ll find in the freezer section. Studded with Lindt dark chocolate and candied orange peel, all you need to really achieve cannoli ice cream heaven is crushed up cannoli shells!

Instructions

For the base:

Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients, making sure the sweetened condensed milk is well combined. It may separate in the freezer, but that’s ok!
Step 2
Add to the Creami pint, and freeze for 24 hours uncovered.

To add mix-ins:

Step 3
When ready to eat, make sure the outside is slightly defrosted with hot water. Just slightly. Then run it through the machine on ice cream. It may look powdery.
Step 4
Now with a spoon, make room in the middle for your mix-ins. Add in as much or as little of each mix-in as you’d like, and add back to the machine. Press the mix-in button.
Step 5
Serve immediately. Re-spin when you would like to eat it again, if you don’t finish the pint on the first go.
