Instructions
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar together
Step 2
Add egg, vanilla, and sour cream. Beat extremely well.
Step 3
Add the rest of the ingredients and beat well
Step 4
Cover the dough tightly and chill thoroughly, overnight if possible

To bake, preheat the oven to 350.
Step 6
Remove just enough dough to work with and place the rest of the dough back in the fridge

Roll out to the size of a thick pencil on a well floured surface. Arrange the dough into a figure 8. Pinch the dough together toward the bottom of the “8”
Step 8
Bake at 350 for 7 to 10 minutes on a lightly greased pan. Bottoms will be lightly browned when done, tops will be white to very light brown. The lighter the color, the better. Serve with butter.
