Instructions
Step 1
Large stock pot combine, apples, water, and butter- cookand stir over low heat until apples are tender
Step 2
Stir in pectin and bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.
Step 3
Add all sugars, cinnamon and nutmeg, return to rolling boil for 1 min stirring constantly
Step 4
Remove from heat; skim off foam.
Step 5
Carefully ladel hot mixture into hot 1/2 pint or 1 pint jars leaving 1/4 inch head space.

Remove air bubbes; wipe rim and adjust lids.
Step 7
Waterbath for 10 mins in boiling water
Step 8
Side note- twist jars gently after sealed to evenly distribute apples through out jam.
Step 9
Optional- replacement 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup spiced rum, cinnamon whiskey or bourbon
