Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Step 2
Prepare the dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the chocolate chips (set a few aside for decoration) and stir gently.
Step 3
Mix the wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until pale. Add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and buttermilk, mixing well.
Step 4
Combine the mixtures: Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients. Stir just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
Step 5
Fill the molds: Pour the batter into greased and floured muffin molds or use muffin liners. Sprinkle a few reserved chocolate chips on top of each muffin.
Step 6
Bake: Place the muffins in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until they are risen and golden brown.
Step 7
Cool and fill (optional): Let the muffins cool completely. If desired, cut a small hole in the center of each muffin and fill it with Nutella for extra indulgence. Use a piping bag or simply a small spoon to add the filling.
Step 8
Voilà! Enjoy your delicious Chocolate Chip Muffins! Hope you’ll like this recipe, and don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe!
