Ingredients

For the bars
1 ½ cupsall-purpose flour
½ cupgranulated sugar
1 tspbaking powder
½ tspbaking soda
½ tspsalt
½ cupunsalted butter
melted
1 cupsour cream
1egg
large
1 tspvanilla extract
For the cinnamon swirl
For the icing
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Step 3
In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, sour cream, egg, and vanilla extract.
Step 4
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
Step 5
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Step 6
In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the swirl. Sprinkle it evenly over the batter.
Step 7
Use a knife or skewer to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter.
Step 8
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 9
While the bars cool, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the icing. Drizzle it over the cooled bars before serving.
