Instructions
Step 1
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Step 2
Add garlic, cook for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Add 3 1/2 cups heavy cream. Bring to simmer, stirring frequently.
Step 4
Add cheeses 1 handful at a time, melting each handful before adding more.
Step 5
Add seasonings.
Step 6
In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and 1/2 cup cold heavy cream. Stir into sauce and bring to simmer until thickened, stirring frequently.
Step 7
Serve with pasta, chicken, and veggies.
