Instructions
Step 1
Set out the cream cheese and the mascarpone so that they get soft at room temperature.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
Step 3
Prepare the head of garlic by cutting off the top and either wrapping in tin foil or placing in a cast iron garlic roaster mold.
Step 4
Bake the garlic for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the garlic from the oven and reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F
Step 6
Allow the garlic to cool somewhat. Then remove the garlic cloves.
Step 7
Mix everything together in an oven safe casserole dish except the garlic, cream cheese and mascaropne.
Step 8
Add the cream cheese and mascarpone. Gently mix.
Step 9
Add the roasted garlic cloves. Gently mix.
Step 10
Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Cooking times will be longer if using a glass dish.
