Ingredients

2 cupssugar
2eggs
1 ½ cupsoil
1 tcinnamon
½ tsalt
3 cupsflour
1 tbaking soda
2 tvanilla
3 cupsapples
peeled and diced
2 cupsnuts
chopped

Instructions
Step 1
Cream together sugar and eggs. Add oil slowly and beat well. Stir in remaining ingredients, folding in apples and nuts at the end. Pour into greased bundt pan. Batter will be very stiff. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. In saucepan combine all topping ingredients and cook for 2 1/2 minutes. Pour over hot cake in the pan. Let sit until cold. Remove from pan and serve with whipped cream.
