Instructions

Step 1
Start by carefully removing the core of each apple and set the apples aside. In a mixing bowl, mix together the mincemeat, runny honey, orange zest and juice and the spices until everything is combined well.
Step 2
Next carefully spoon the mixture into the cored apples, then place them inside your slow cooker. Then cook your stuffed apples on low for 4 to 6 hours or high for 2 hours.
Step 3
When cooked, carefully transfer the apples to a serving dish, then pour over the cooking juices from the bottom of the slow cooker.
Step 4
Finally, serve your festive slow cooker baked apples hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or plain yoghurt on the side.
