Instructions
Step 1

Measure walnuts; grind and watch out for stray skin using a mouli grater

Step 2

Measure and soften the butter

Step 3

Mix the flour and baking powder

Step 4

Add the butter into the mix

Step 5

Add the sugar and a pinch of salt, along with both eggs

Step 6

Mix; Use hands when too difficult (note: dough is very tasty here)
Step 7

Make 2 balls of equal mass (out of the dough)
Step 8

Mix one of the balls with the grinded walnuts

Step 9

Place said ball on parchment paper and flatten it; make sure it's equally distributed!

Step 10

Mix the cocoa with the second ball of dough left earlier

Step 11

Flatten said chocolate mixture on another equally sized piece of parchment paper

Step 12

Preheat oven to around 165C

Step 13

Combine both layers using apricot jam as the glue by thinly smothering it on the walnut mix; the cocoa layer will go on top if this edible 'glue'

Step 14

Flip the chocolate layer onto the walnut mix using the parchment paper to help you and place the now finished unbaked pie into the baking tray
Step 15

Place said tray into the oven for 18-20 minutes (keep check on the pie to avoid burning)

Step 16

In the meantime, mix another 2 spoons of cocoa with 120 grams of sugar and a bit of water; Try making it as fine as possible, and be careful with adding the right amount of water!

Step 17

Flip the baked pie onto a platform it fits on
Step 18

Spread the cocoa sauce (made in step 16) evenly on the top of the baked pie
Step 19

Congrats! Your pie should something pike this! All you have to do now is wait until it is cool and the chocolate 'fondue' has dried.
