Filling

3 x 8 ozcream cheese
packages, softened

1 cupsugar

4eggs
large

⅓ cupwhipping cream

⅓ cupamaretto

1 tspvanilla

Instructions
For the Crust
Step 1
Combine ingredients in food processor. Press mixture into bottom and sides of a buttered springform pan.
For the Filling
Step 2
Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Beat whipping cream until stiff in separate bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, to cream cheese mixture beating 2 minutes after each addition. Add amaretto and vanilla. Add stiff whip cream. Beat 3 minutes more. Pour over chocolate crust. Bake at 350 ° in a preheated oven on middle rack for 30 to 40 minutes. Transfer cake to wire rack and let set for 5 minutes.
For the Topping
Step 3
Combine ingredients except nuts. Spread evenly over cake. Bake 5 minutes more. Cool on rack. Cover lightly with wax paper and chill overnight.
Step 4
To serve, remove sides of pan. Break off crust above cheesecake and crumble around outer edge of top. Fill with toasted almonds.
