If using as preventative remedy, use by the tablespoon one to three times per day. If using to ward off sickness take a tablespoon every hour.

Ingredients
32 servings

1 cupyellow onions
minced, or brown

½ cuphorseradish
grated

½ cupgarlic
minced

¼ cupfresh ginger
grated
1fresh cayenne
/4-inch piece, or 1/2 teaspoon dried

2 tablespoonsdried thyme
2 teaspoonswhole black pepper corns

0.5lemon
thinly sliced into rounds

¼ cupdate syrup

2 ⅔ cupapple cider vinegar
Instructions
Step 1
Place the onions, horseradish, garlic, herbs, spices and lemon into 1-quart jar.
Step 2
Add date syrup.
Step 3
Fill the jar with apple cider vinegar and cover all the ingredients with it.
Step 4
Stir will to make sure there aren’t any air bubbles.
Step 5
Cover with glass or plastic lid. If using metal lid, place parchment paper between lid and jar because vinegar will erode metal.
Step 6
Let the jar sit for two to three weeks.
Step 7
For the first few days shake the jar well once per day.
Step 8
Strain the vinegar into a clean jar after two or three weeks. Refrigerate and use within a year.
