Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
Step 2
Peel and carefully cut the butternut squash into cubes of about 1-inch.
Step 3
In a large bowl, toss the squash cubes with olive oil, cinnamon, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Step 4
Arrange the squash cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If needed, cook in batches.
Step 5
Air fry for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the squash is golden, crispy on the edges, and tender in the middle.
Step 6
Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme for a burst of colour and added flavour.
Step 7
Serve warm as a side dish or toss into salads, grain bowls, or pastas.
