Ingredients
6 servings
1 tblbutter
¼ cupbulgher wheat
medium or coarse texture
2moong dal
TBL
2 TBLwhite rice
short grain
2 cups2% milk
2 cupswater
⅓ cupsugar
2 TBLdried coconut
unsweetened
1 tspcardamom green ground
Instructions
Step 1
Turn on saute function on Instant Pot and add the butter, bulgher, moong dal, and rice. Saute 2 min to coat the grains with butter. Then cancel the saute function.
Step 2
Add the rest of ingredients, stirring well to combine.
Step 3
Put the lid on the Instant Pot and use the Oatmeal/ Porridge setting for 20 min at high pressure.
Step 4
Do a natural release for 15 min. If the float does not release, release manually until it is down. Stir to combine and check consistency. If it needs more liquid, use the saute function and stir in as much milk as needed.
Step 5
Serve immediately or chill to serve cold later.
