Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine the mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, and liquid smoke.

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is smooth and heated through.

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water until smooth and then add it to the sauce.

Continue cooking until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool. Store in the refrigerator.
