Instructions
Step 1
Toast the seeds and nuts lightly in a dry skillet for extra flavor (optional).
Step 2
Allow to cool, then blend all ingredients in a food processor or spice grinder until a fine meal forms (don’t over-blend or it may turn into a paste).

Store in an airtight container and use as a 1:1 replacement for nutritional yeast to sprinkle on pasta, salads, or incorporate into sauces.
Flavor Tips

Adjust garlic, onion, or salt to taste; a pinch of turmeric can add color if desired.

For extra umami, finely ground dried mushrooms can be added, though this may change the flavor profile.
