Instructions

Step 1
Preheat your oven and prepare a baking sheet.
Step 2
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Step 3
Add brown sugar and corn syrup, stirring to combine.
Step 4
Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Boil without stirring for 4-5 minutes.
Step 6
Remove from heat and stir in salt, baking soda, and vanilla extract.
Step 7
Pour caramel over popcorn, stirring to coat evenly.
Step 8
Spread onto baking sheet and bake as directed, stirring occasionally.
Step 9
Cool and break into pieces before serving.
