Instructions
Step 1
Protein Add-In (optional)
Add 1 scoop (about 25–30 g) vanilla or chocolate protein powder when mixing the dry ingredients.
If adding protein, reduce almond flour to ½ cup to maintain texture.
No-Protein Version
Skip the protein powder and keep ¾ cup almond flour for a classic chewy texture.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch skillet.
In a large bowl, whisk eggs and coconut sugar until smooth.
Whisk in almond butter and vanilla.
In a small bowl, combine almond flour (adjusted per above), baking soda, salt, and protein powder (if using).
Add dry to wet and mix until a thick batter forms.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Spread batter evenly in skillet. Top with extra chips.
Bake 25–30 min — shorter for gooey, longer for firm.
Cool 10 min, then sprinkle with flaky salt.
Step 3
Can add one scoop portion powder - then change the almond flour to half a cup
