Instructions

Step 1
Step One: Prepare the Syrup! πŸ“πŸ₯« In a hot pot, pour in the amount of syrup you want (in water form only) add the sugar and water. Bring to a gentle simmer. 10 minutes for a thin syrup, and 15 minutes for a thick one.
Step 2
Step Two: Strain it! 🍬πŸ₯£ Remove the saucepan from the heat. To get smooth, clear syrup without any seeds or pulp, strain it through a sieve. Do not press down on the strawberries if you want it clear, as this can cloud it. If you want it chunky, please skip this step.
Step 3
Step Three: Cool it! 🍯🧊 Stir and cool the syrup in the freezer. Allow the syrup to cool to room temp. It will thicken later. Pour the cool syrup into an airtight container, such as a glass jar or bottle.
Step 4
Step Four: Storage! πŸ₯«πŸ§Š Store in a fridge. It typically lasts up to one or two weeks (sorry for such short lasting, but it doesn't have any preservatives so..).
Step 5
Tips ✨ πŸ§‹πŸ₯› You can use this syrup for lattes, (espresso + milk + syrup), strawberry milk (strawberry chunks + cold milk + syrup), and more! this syrup is very flexible, so you can literally mix it with just milk and call it a drink!
