Step 1
Boil dates, sugar, water until thick. About 5-10 minutes.
Step 2
Add butter, vanilla, walnuts. Mix thoroughly. Let cool before adding to pan.

Combine dry ingredients and melted butter. Mix.
Step 4
Firmly press HALF of the mixture into a lightly headed 9x13 pan
Step 5
Cover with filling
Step 6
Top with remaining half of crust. Press lightly
Step 7
Make at 350 F for 25 minutes
