Extra Tips: For an added depth of flavor, consider using dark chocolate chips or a combination of milk and dark chocolate. You can also enhance the cookies with a pinch of cinnamon or a handful of chopped nuts for extra texture. Store any leftover cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze them for longer-lasting treats. Enjoy your freshly baked Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies!

Instructions

Step 1
To prepare these delicious cookies, start by preheating your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Step 3
Next, scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and shape them into balls. Place the cookie dough balls in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between each cookie to allow for spreading. Cook in batches if necessary.
Step 4
Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until the edges are firm and the tops appear set. Let the cookies cool in the basket for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
