Creamy chicken noodle casserole made with egg noodles, mushroom soup, sour cream, cheddar, and crushed French fried onions, baked until melty, bubbly, and comforting.

Instructions

Step 1
Sauté the onion and celery in butter; put aside.
Step 2
In a 9x13 baking dish, put all the egg noodles, both cans of cream of mushroom soup, 2 cups shredded cheese, all the Fri Chix, some of the juice, onion and celery mixture, McKay’s chicken seasoning, salt and pepper if needed, and 1/2 French Fried Onion.
Step 3
Put on gloves and mix all ingredients together in the 9x13 dish until creamy. You may have to add more sour cream, cheese, or McKay’s seasoning to your taste. Taste as you go and then add as needed.
Step 4
Sprinkle the remaining 2 cups of cheese and French Fried Onion on top.
Step 5
Cover and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, or until cheese melts and is bubbly.
