Instructions

Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, pea protein isolate, cornstarch, guar gum, and salt. Mixing guar gum with sugar helps prevent clumping.

Add oat milk to a saucepan. Slowly whisk in the dry mixture.

Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until steaming and slightly thickened (about 3–5 minutes). Do not boil.
