Instructions

Step 1
Mix together water, yeast, butter, & honey. Let the mixture sit & bloom for about 10 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when it’s bubbly.
Step 2
Add the flour & salt to the yeast mixture. Mix together using a stand mixer with a dough hook for 5-10 minutes or until ingredients are well combined. Mix until the dough starts to pull away from the edges of the bowl. For hand mixing, dough should be well combined & slightly sticky.
Step 3
Cover & let rise for 1 hour. Once it’s risen, uncover the dough & punch it down in the center.
Step 4
Scrape dough onto a floured work space. Separate your dough into two pieces. Take one piece & roll it out into a rectangle. The shorter side should be about the length of your pan. Fold the edges in on the long sides. Then short side to short side, roll your dough into a loaf. Making sure to pinch together the seam at the end. For rolls, roll into a rectangle & then cut into 8 equal portions. Tuck all the edges into the center of each piece until you end up with a roll shape. Make sure to seal the bottom.
Step 5
Place shaped dough into greased loaf pans. Cover & allow dough to rise again for 1 hour.
Step 6
Turn the oven to 350°. Once heated, place bread in ovens & bake for 20-30 minutes. Baking time will depend on your oven & will be on the shorter side for rolls so keep an eye on it. Bake until the top is a light golden brown.
Step 7
Once finished, brush the top with melted butter. Transfer the bread to a cooling rack. Allow the bread to cool fully before slicing.
