Step 1
Coconut Dosa
Step 2
Take a bowl and add raw rice and methi seeds along with some water. Soak them for 4 hours.
Step 3
After 4 hours, drain the water completely. Transfer the soaked rice and methi seeds to a mixer jar without adding any water and blend until smooth.
Step 4
Transfer the batter to a bowl. In the same mixer jar, add grated coconut and poha along with 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
Step 5
Add the coconut mixture to the rice batter and mix well. Cover and ferment the batter for 8 hours.
Step 6
Once the batter is fermented, mix it well and add 1 teaspoon of salt, or salt to taste. Mix everything gently.
Step 7
Heat a tawa and pour a ladleful of batter onto it. Spread it gently, keeping the dosa slightly thick rather than too thin. Cover and cook on low heat for about 1 minute.
Step 8
Your dosa is ready to serve!
Step 9
Coconut Chutney Take a mixer jar and add grated coconut, roasted gram dal, green chillies, tamarind, salt, and water. Blend until smooth. Now add coriander leaves and a little water. Blend again until you get a slightly coarse paste. Add the tempering and mix well. Serve the chutney with hot dosa.
