Instructions
Step 1
Blend the fresh strawberries in a small blender or food processor until completely smooth.
Step 2
Add the optional honey during blending if your child is over 12 months and you prefer it a bit sweeter.
Step 3
Pour the cold double cream into a clean mixing bowl. Whisk the cream using a hand mixer or whisk until stiff, thick peaks form.
Step 4
Pour the smooth strawberry puree into the whipped cream. Fold the puree into the cream very gently with a spatula so the mixture stays light and fluffy.
Step 5
Spoon small portions into baby bowls and serve right away, or chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Safety Note for Babies
Step 7
No Honey Under 1 Age: Never give honey to infants under 12 months old because of the risk of infant botulism.
Step 8
For younger babies, the natural sweetness of ripe strawberries is plenty.
Step 9
Choking / Texture Check: Ensure the strawberries are pureed thoroughly with no large chunks or seeds remaining if your baby is just starting with textures
