Make this popular drink at home. You can shorten the boiling time by soaking the tapioca in enough water. The springy texture of tapioca and milk tea is a perfect match.

Instructions
Step 1
Soak the tapioca in plenty of water for ~7 hours and drain.
Step 2
Let tea bags sit in hot water for 3 minutes. Put the milk in a pot and heat it to just before boiling, pour in the black tea, add the sugar and mix it, and let it cool (milk tea).
Step 3
In another pot, add the tapioca pearls from step 1 and enough water to cover the tapioca pearls and heat over medium heat. Bring to a boil while stirring to prevent sticking to the bottom. When it boils, boil it for 3 minutes, strain it and remove the sliminess with cold water.
Step 4
Pour ice, tapioca, and milk tea into a cup.
