Instructions

Step 1
1. Begin by making the syrup. Boil the sugar with a little orange food colouring, water and cardamom. It should become thick and coat the back of the spoon. Set aside once thickened.

2. To another pan, melt the ghee.
Step 3
3. Stir in the semolina and roast till you can smell the nutty aroma.
Step 4
4. Once semolina has absorbed all the ghee, gently pour in the syrup. Be careful as it will splatter.
Step 5
5. Continiously stir until all combined.
Step 6
6. Cook your paratha per the packet instruction and serve.
