If you don't have Potato Flour, 2 tbsp Flour will do
Instructions
Step 1

First, peel and shred the potatoes using a grater into a colander or strainer. Then slightly rinse the shredded potatoes with water.



Step 2

Peel, chop and finely dice the onion and put it into a big bowl.




Step 3

Into the same bowl, add the shredded potatoes, along with the egg, flour, salt and cheese.








Step 4

It should be a gooey consistency that is able to clump together. If it is too dry, add a little water. If it doesn't clump, add another egg and a tbsp of flour.








Step 5

Finally, put oil into a pan and wait till it starts sizzling. Scoop the mixture into the pan and flatten it out. Let it fry till crisp on the edges and golden brown. Enjoy!
